You Will Never Walk Alone
What a day Wednesday, the 25th of May 2005 turned out to be. I met, talked and prayed with a very fascinating young missionary, Pontus, who is based in the Spanish region of Basque where bombs and terrorism are not uncommon. Eta, a separatist group has been fighting for secession from Spain..yet Pontus and his family are fulfilling, the Great Commission there. Kubb turned out to be another complicated but great Swedish game as Kevin, Lasha and I drew one-all against Bella, Walt and David. It was sad to say goodbye to Cam and Ruth as they left for Scotland on Thursday...they were like my parents in Sweden. As I walked home I couldn't imagine Liverpool beating AC Milan in the UEFA Champions League final in Istanbul.. .yet when I got home around 11 pm, the match was in an amazing 103th minute and a check on the internet revealed that Liverpool had been 3nil down at half time! I could only pray for success in the penalty shoot-out, and indeed Dudek saved twice, one was missed as Milan crumbled...3-2 to the Kopites. You willl never walk alone!! You will never walk alone!!
19 May..my laptop finally got delivered... praise God, 23 May I submitted my thesis after three months of sweat and toil. My defence is on 1 June at 2pm. 'You will never walk alone.... You willl never walk alone'
